Nick Torpey Biography
Nick Torpey is a UEFA ‘B’ (level 3) professional coach. As a professional player he played for Charlton Athletic under the management of Alan Curbishley and alongside players like Robert Lee and Linvoy Primus. This included playing at such grounds as Highbury, White Hart Lane and Upton Park. Nick played professionally in the U.S.A for Tulsa Renegades and Arkansas. Whilst playing in the Premier Ryman League he coached a very successful Under 18 team that developed numerous players into the first team. Nick played, coached and managed at a Ryman League level including Bognor Regis Town Football Club and Dorking F.C.
Nick Torpey is involved with the coaching of many Mole Valley youngsters, having developed strong links with Dorking F.C. Brockham Badgers, Holmbury Wolves, St Paul’s and Dorkininians. Nick is always keen to encourage participation, identify and recommend exceptional talent, but above all to bring out the best in all the teams and their players whatever their standard. Nick is also involved in running managers sessions and is passionate about training a new generation of outstanding youth football coaches.

The training that takes place is carefully planned to suit the young developing bodies. Drills allow maximum contact with the ball with individual progress the main aim rather than results. This is achieved through the use of a variety of coaching styles to meet the needs of every individual and the right environment so learning can take place.

Up to date F.A. credited first aid and child protection certification.
Personal Training
football coaching, football skills development and football training for boys, girls and youths aged 5 – 15.
Parties
Both girls and boys are welcome, and although the emphasis is around football, there are many fun games which appeal to everyone.
Advanced Training
Just Soccer advanced coaching programme is an invitation only programme open to boys aged 7-13. To be invited onto the courses you will need to be recommended to Nick Torpey by your club or school team manager or be selected by our staff.
Commitment, enthusiasm and dedication are essential qualities for the Advanced Centre Player who wishes to progress to the next level, and players will be expected to demonstrate these qualities on a continual basis.
